During preparation of an experiment, some of the vacuum sections need to be vented/pumped due to different reasons (install/replace new detector, align target with telescope, etc.). In this section, we provide guidelines to vent/pump the different sections of the S800 beamline and spectrograph that are most frequently used.

• Venting/pumping Object box

• Venting/pumping Intermediate Image box and filling PPACs with gas
