The saveset data files are text files that contain the configurations of the magnets and the other beamline components (slits, drives, etc.) of ARIS and the subsequent beamlines including the S800. Those for ARIS are generated on FTC and those for the subsequent beamlines are generated on EXP.

The saveset files are saved in the directory /files/shared/ap/savesets for both FTC and EXP, and they are automatically copied to the Office network and made accessible from Windows machines in

• For FTC: I:\departments\AcceleratorPhysics\FTC-AP\savesets\hlc_vps
• For EXP: I:\departments\AcceleratorPhysics\EXP-AP\savesets\hlc_th_exp

or from Linux

• For FTC: /departments/AcceleratorPhysics/FTC-AP/savesets/hlc_vps
• For EXP: /departments/AcceleratorPhysics/EXP-AP/savesets/hlc_th_exp
