We are simulating the merger of two neutron stars, analysing possible ramifications for the r-process and comparing to the neutrino driven wind scenario, using the xnet code.
We will use an initial thermal profile based on the work of Stephan Rosswog, see http://compact-merger.astro.su.se/downloads.html
