Original Goals
Simulate Bondi accretion on VH1 with appropriate condition
Run XRB reaction network on xnet
Link the inputs and outputs between both simulations
Plot some thermodynamic variables over time
Study the effect of some parametric changes
VH1 and Bondi Accretion Model
To simulate the accretion of matter onto the surface of a neutron star in a binary system we decided to use VH1 setup with a Bondi accretion model.
Some important parameters within VH1:
1D Spherically Symmetric: ngeom = 2
Reflective boundary at surface: nleft = 0
Fixed value boundary above neutron star: nright = 2
Minimum value of grid: Xmin = 10 km
Maximum value of grid: Xmax = 50 km
