CsI Water Damage Repair:
Remove CsI crystals (56 out of 56) (11/15)
Dismantle telescopes
Store E, dE detectors
Unwrap CsI bundles
Remove as much filter paper as possible from CsI (using ethanol and plastic scraper) (56 out of 56) (11/20)
Document damage (depth on front surface) (56 out of 56)
Detach photodiodes from each crystal (leave light guides on for now) (56 out of 56) (12/19)
Remove remaining filter paper and light guide paint (56 out of 56) (12/19)
MAchine crystals at WashU (56 out of 56) (1/18)
Sand sides of each crystal (56 out of 56) (3/14)
Design and assemble lapping setup (2/14)
Clean photodiodes, reattach to light guides
Reglue uncoupled light guides
Practice lapping with worst crystals (4/21)
Lap crystals until surface clean (4/28)
Polish, rewrap, assemble bundles (5/14)
Test individual crystals in dark box (check leakage current)
Reassemble telescopes (??)
